Connection Breakfast

This popular monthly networking breakfast event draws 100+ people!

How it works

Chamber Ambassadors, Board Members, and Chamber Staff welcome you to choose a table of business friends or potentially new contacts. There is always a large group of first-time attendees and member prospects (non-Members may attend one Connection Breakfast before joining the Chamber). Before breakfast is available everyone spends their time introducing or reconnecting with one another. Friends and acquaintances are more likely to do business with each other than with someone they don’t know. Don’t forget your business cards and materials for the networking table!

As an attendee at the event, you’ll have 20 seconds to stand and introduce your business. The Chamber awards prizes to their favorite commercials – so be creative and engaging!

Members are invited to bring prizes for drawings held throughout the morning.

HOT SHEET

The HOT SHEET is a complete listing of all attendees who have paid for reservations by noon the Wednesday before breakfast. Being on the HOT SHEET is useful because as you give your commercial you save time by not having to give your phone number, address or website; you can simply state that you are “#88” on the HOT SHEET instead. You will see people circling your number for future reference instead of losing their attention and their interest.

Chamber members appear on the HOT SHEET distributed to all guests. Deadline to get on the HOT SHEET is by noon the Wednesday before the event.

Time and date

Connection Breakfast is generally held the first Friday of the month; subject to change depending on the holiday schedule. Always check our events calendar to confirm dates of our events.

Deadlines

• HOT SHEET deadline (available to Chamber members only): register and pay by noon on Wednesday before event
• Online event registration deadline: 12pm on day before event

Cost & registration

• $35 for pre-registered Chamber members
• $45 for pre-registered non-members
• $5 extra at the door

Sponsorship

Each month the Connection Breakfast is sponsored by a different member business. Sponsors are the first to promote their business with a two minute commercial. They are provided with signage for more visibility and have the exclusive right to place materials on each place setting.

Event cancellation & refund policies

• THE VENTURA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE is honored to host the region’s business and civic leaders at a wide range of events throughout the year. In an effort to maintain a diverse and relevant slate of high-quality events, be advised of the chamber’s official event refund policy.
• Refunds will be managed based on receipt of a written request of cancellation: 30 DAYS PRIOR TO EVENT: registration fees will be refunded IN FULL
• SPONSORSHIP FEES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE, unless the event is cancelled
• ALL VENTURA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE EVENTS are subject to this cancellation policy with the exception of events where travel is involved.
• Because the Ventura Chamber of Commerce is subject to and responsible for all travel fees in accordance with third-party vendor requirements, a separate cancellation policy applies. Consult appropriate program materials for complete cancellation details.
• ALL ON-SITE REGISTRANTS for any Ventura Chamber of Commerce event must be paid in full upon admittance and cannot be invoiced.
