How Millions in Collected Ventura Fees Plan to be Used

City Developer Fees Banked for Park Projects – What’s in the bank and what the plans are for spending the funds.

As developers’ projects are approved in our City, there are fees collected for various improvements to our community and infrastructure. Millions have been banked through this process that have a “USE IT OR GIVE IT BACK” clause. This coming Monday night, Ventura City Council will hear City Staff’s Local Agency Developer Improvement Fee Report. Learn what the funds are for, current balances of each, what portion of those funds is nearing the use-expiry date, and what the plans are for putting these valuable dollars to work
